Mending and Making Ceramics in the Home, Street and Factory, 1660–1830
St John’s College History Society hosted me as the opening speaker of their Michaelmas programme in October 2025. I gave the group an overview of my project and recent research, and exhibited some of the ceramic body samples I use in my work.
It was gratifying to be invited, and enjoyable to help build connections between the undergraduate and postgraduate members. Treasurer Isabelle Crawford made me a very sweet card using a sherd found in Cripps Court.
